Satay Chicken Legs with Peanut Sauce
Sticky, caramelized chicken drumsticks glazed with a fragrant satay marinade, paired with a silky peanut dipping sauce—this is the kind of snack that disappears in minutes and leaves everyone asking for more.
Ingredients:
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds and fresh cilantro for garnish
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Whisk together soy sauce, peanut butter, honey, lime juice, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and chili flakes in a bowl.
- Toss drumsticks with the marinade, coating well. Arrange on a baking sheet.
- Roast for 30–35 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- Thin the remaining marinade with a splash of water to create a peanut dipping sauce. Serve alongside the drumsticks.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro.
